A overview of The Holistic Fibro Fighter Blogs
My Story
I have decided to share my story, for the first time in full, not the edited version of how I became unwell. This came about having the space over the last couple of years, to step back a little to observe and witness the pain I have carried for over a decade. I wish to share this now in the hope that it may support others in searching for their own story that they are holding onto.
This is how I ended up being a Holistic Fibro Fighter….

The Pyramid Lines
I have felt that during the past few months I may have been holding my breath, as I navigate this new landscape, caught up in a pandemic. Having experienced the beautiful gongs and pyramid, I realised my breathing was related to surrendering and letting go, along with the pain that I had been holding on to…….. ‘If you stop hanging on, the magic can happen’
One year on...…..
I hit the ground at start of 2019 quite literally, by falling over a frozen lump of dog wee whilst on holiday in Italy, it all happened in slow motion although the yellow frozen snow coming towards me seem to gain momentum as it took all my strength to prevent my face ending up in it.
Being Me
This Blog is a journal of my journey and personal fight with Fibro, it is fundamentally about me; I almost lost sight of my purpose, by trying too hard. Those of you that follow my blog have your own reasons for reading it should you choose to, if no one else reads it then that’s OK too.
Circle of Life
The circle of life encourages us to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. We face challenges that may be new to us or even those that we have faced before and probably will face again in the future. We continue on our own individual journey a series of deaths, lives and rebirths.
I stopped listening to my soul, I stopped feeling with my heart, I stopped believing in fairies, gnomes and father Christmas. I became an adult, who analysed everything,
Reset your mind, body and soul
It is as though something has shifted deep in my core, my soul feels lighter, balanced, grounded at one with by body. I have not noticed any pain. If that’s what happens after three session I daren’t even begin to imagine if I continue to have more.
Do What Makes You Happy
Life is very precious, and we are here for only a short amount of time, so doing things that make you unhappy cannot be good for your wellbeing.
It is important to listen to your body, let your soul and spirit speak to you and feel what is in your heart.
It is so worth it...….
Celebrate life and being alive, a retreat and gathering between the worlds, what a fantastic way to empower and rediscover myself.
Fighting any illness daily, leaves you feeling exhausted in mind, body and spirit, which is why I explore all types of holistic therapy to enhance my wellbeing.
The Journey Continues
Rhythmic drum healing is a very ancient therapy that has been practiced for thousands of years by many cultures to promote wellbeing and healing using the natural law of resonance to restore the vibrational integration between mind, body and spirit.
Behind the Mask
“Remove the mask, and be that magical, beautiful, genuine, and not quite perfect person, you really are”
My Quest for Healing
The healers all work differently, some hands on, some hand off, some a mixture of both. Each time I receive healing it is always different, sometimes their hands feel warm, sometimes they feel cold, more often than not I see wonderful colours ............
Journey for the Soul
Whatever your journey, make it an adventure and let your sparkle shine from within. Having attended a Deep Shamanic Soul Journey workshop.........
'To Ease my Dis......'
When you stop! Suddenly you notice your own breath, you hear the sound of silence and you smell the scent that evokes a feeling, a memory. Life is so very fragile, yet we race around filling our lives with things, possessions, envy and that imbalance can cause disharmony of the mind, body and soul maybe leading to disease.
The Power of saying NO
‘No’ is a complete sentence, it does not require a justification. It is the most empowering sentence that you can ever use. At first you feel guilty for saying it and try to explain your rationale. It’s even harder with friends and family, they give you a look, you then end up backing down, and agreeing to something that you don’t want to do, that can often impact your mind, body and spirit.
