The time has come to call it a day on a name that has defined me for too long as The Holistic Fibro Fighter. I'm excited to announce the next step in my journey and a new home for my work. My blog is now called The Wisdom Pages, and it is part of a new collection of wisdom offerings. The original content from The Holistic Fibro Fighter will remain on my Jane Taylor wisdom website as a complete and valuable archive of my journey.

We were offered a question to consider, ‘What are you going to do, to change things in your own world, to make this life matter?’

I hit the ground at start of 2019 quite literally, by falling over a frozen lump of dog wee whilst on holiday in Italy, it all happened in slow motion although the yellow frozen snow coming towards me seem to gain momentum as it took all my strength to prevent my face ending up in it.

The circle of life encourages us to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. We face challenges that may be new to us or even those that we have faced before and probably will face again in the future. We continue on our own individual journey a series of deaths, lives and rebirths. I stopped listening to my soul, I stopped feeling with my heart, I stopped believing in fairies, gnomes and father Christmas. I became an adult, who analysed everything,

This is me………………………………I am starting to emerge from wherever it is, that I have been lying dormant, waiting for this moment.

I would never have believed that 5 years ago my life would be so dramatically different. I had not even heard of a Crystal Therapy bed let alone considered having a treatment. This part of my journey,................

Sometimes when you feel pain, either physically, emotionally or spiritually, your coping strategy is often to put a lid on it, cover it up, repress it in the hope that if you don’t acknowledge it will hopefully go away.

Since my last Blog in August, so much has happened that September has almost passed me by, that’s the thing with Life, blink and you can miss it. None of us know how long we have on the earthly plain, there is something to be said ‘don’t put off until tomorrow, what you can achieve today’. You just don’t know what tomorrow may bring.

Having spent the past week unable to get out of bed suffering from aching joints, sweats, shivering, a four day headache and the most horrendous cough. I thought I had gone back four years and was having a massive fibromyalgia flare up.

I decided that I needed to start a blog to share with you all.  There is  life after being given a chronic pain diagnosis. I am not saying that life is easy, it uses a lot of energy, but it is how I channel that energy, to support my healing journey that is important.
